Fullerton College's Nick Fuscardo Gets 500th Win

FULLERTON, CA - 500TH WIN! Beating Allan Hancock College in a 3-2 come-back victory, head coach Nick Fuscardo earns his 500th victory at Fullerton College.

With a storm was brewing over Hornet Field on Friday, the Hornets managed to squeeze in the game and the win giving Coach Nick Fuscardo his 500th win as a Hornet.

The win puts Fullerton at 6-6 overall while Allan Hancock fell to 7-4 on the season.

FC pitcher Chase Yamashiro threw the first 7 innings allowing only 3 hits with 7 strikeouts, and no earned runs.  RP Kevin Jurkatis came in to face 5 batters before going out of the game after getting spiked in the hand covering home plate after a passed ball.  Danny Ossiginac filled in nicely earning the win after throwing 3.1 innings while only giving up one hit.  He also had 4 Ks.

The game was won in the in the 11th inning on a single to right center by RF Nolan Almodavar allowing SS Zach Luther to cross home plate. 

CF Joey Occhipinti had 2 hits, 1 RBI and 1 run.  SS Zach Luther had 2 hits and 2 runs while Nolan Almodavar had 2 hits and 1 RBI.
