Men Results: Event Winners
200 Free Relay: Golden West 1:23.35
500 Freestyle: Ian Wheeler, Golden West – 4:35.91
200 Individual Med: Daniel Roa, Golden West – 1:53.07
50 Freestyle: Fletcher Norseen, Golden West – 20.54
400 Medley Relay: Orange Coast – 3:24.98
 

NOTES: Golden West has jumped out in an early lead claiming first place in all but one event today. Taking the 200 Free Relay in a quick 1:23.35 Golden West stared the finals meet strong. Ian Wheeler then cleared the field as he took home the hardware for the 500 Free in a time of 4:35.91. Daniel Roa took first place in the 200IM with a time of 1:53.07, and it was Golden West's Fletcher Norseen who took this year's title as the conference's fastest man in the 50 Free with a time of 20.54.  Orange Coast edged out Golden West for the win in the 400 Medley Relay finishing in 3:24.98.

200 Free Relay: Golden West College - 1:34.99
500 Freestyle: Zeineb Kalfallah. Golden West - 5:01.19
100 Individual Med.: Mackenzie Bailie, Orange Coast – 58.11
50 Freestyle: Jacelyn Youngerman, Cypress – 23.61
400 Medley Relay: Golden West – 3:53.89
 
 
NOTES:
Golden West owned the day's relays with first place in the 200 Free Relay by just out touching Orange Coast with a time of 1:34.99, and again in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:53.89. Golden West's Zeineb Kalfallah won the 500 Free with a time of 5:01.19. OCC easily found first with Mackenzie Bailie in the 100 IM who touched in 58.11. However, it was Jacelyn Youngerman from Cypress claimed the conference record with the 50 Freestyle in 23.61.  
 
Next: Prelims heats for Friday's events will begin at 9:30 AM and the finals will start at 3:30 PM.
